Our Strategy

We still have a relatively free an open society and government. We can still convince our leaders to do things differently and if that fails, we can vote them out. What are we asking of you?

    • We are asking you to join us in writing letters
    • We are asking you to join us in voting
    • We are asking you to join us in boycotts
    • We will be asking you to read.
    • We are asking you to support us financially

You may have had an experience in which you made a phone call or wrote a letter to your congressman with little effect. You may be someone who calls talk shows, but never seem to get things done. Acting alone, none of us can have much of an effect.

You may remember in the early Summer of 2007, the immigration law was stopped in its tracks from a ground swell of opposition.

We stopped the US Congress

We stopped the president of the United States.

This was an event in which the traditionalists of America responded to a particular outrage. However, we were reacting. Imagine if we could do this at will! Actually, we can. That is what this website is designed to do.

There are plenty of Liberal groups in the country who have a particular axe to grind. They are relatively small, but they are committed, passionate, and well funded. They take a long term view and they are not deterred by short term failures. What they don’t get today, they will try again tomorrow. What they can’t get through the legislature, they try to get through the courts. They have taken over the schools, colleges, courtrooms, and news rooms.

But they don’t have our size! We are the average Americans, the sleeping giant that they hope will never awake. What we don’t have is focus. We need to act as a group in order to get anything done. That’s why this website was created. You will know to whom to write, who deserves your vote, and who deserves your patronage. We will make it easy; providing names and coordination.

There are lots of political websites. What makes this one any different? This website is broad-based, addressing many issues. We don’t have a single axe to grind, but are working on lots of things at once. You participate in the ones that interest you.

Although we do research to develop our strategies, we are not a think tank. There are plenty of those out there with a wealth of ideas. We will team with them to develop our strategies.

We will have the participation of large numbers of people. Not just a few hundred or even a few thousand. Moveon.org boasts 3 million members. Our goal is to dwarf that.

We have a long-term view. We won’t get tangled up in the issue of the day, but will keep our eye on the ball. Liberalism has been hammering away at our culture and liberties for almost a century. It will take at least half that to set it straight.

How does this work? It depends on the issue. If it is one that requires a letter-witting campaign, we will provide the names, addresses, and timing. (Timing is important because having a bone-crushing pile of letters over a period of a week or two has a greater effect than the same number spread over months).

If it is a boycott, we will let you know to whom to write while you are boycotting the product. (Better that they know WHY their sales have dropped than to guess wrong).

If it is an issue for which voting would be a good strategy, we will provide information on the various candidates’ position, so that you can make an informed decision.

Most issues will involve one or more of the above techniques in a coordinated fashion. Note that we will not ask you to come to Washington for a million man rally or ask you to stand in front of a tank to “stop the war”. We assume that you have a job, home to maintain, and possibly children to raise. We will not ask anything that you cannot do while sitting in your own home or office.

Why is this website so plain? As stated earlier, we want to attract a vast audience. Many, but not all have broadband. This simple format, with few pictures allows us to reach the most people.

Here are some of the issues that we intend to tackle. As we said, we are very broad-based.

Issues:

  • War on Terror
  • Taxes
  • Education
  • Liberal Judges
  • Christian Attack
  • Border Security
  • Social Security
  • Term Limits
  • Welfare
  • Unconstitutional Spending
  • Liberal Press
  • Liberal Schools
  • Environment
  • Energy
